Job Title: Railcar Inspector/Prep
Location: Wentzville, MO
Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour

Position Summary:

As a Railcar Inspector/Prep associate, you will play a key role in ensuring railcars are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for transport. Areas of Responsibility:

• Follow all industry, customer, and company safety regulations and operating procedures at all times.
• Inspect, open, and close railcar end doors safely and accurately.
• Examine railcars for signs of damage, wear, or fatigue, ensuring they meet required standards.
• Identify any repairs that can be completed by Road & Rail Services personnel.
• Remove debris, dirt, and other contaminants from railcars using backpack blowers, scrapers, and additional equipment to prevent potential vehicle damage.
• Maintain responsibility for assigned tools and equipment, ensuring they are cleaned, stored, and in proper working condition.
• Perform routine housekeeping and site cleanliness tasks as directed by management.
• Support overall team operations by maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks.

What's Required:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent ability.
• Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a desire to grow and develop.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid state driver's license.
