Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Murex Developer to support the development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of the Murex platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Murex, Oracle databases, SQL, and Java, with hands-on experience in release management, testing, and implementation activities. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, QA teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions across trading and capital markets systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the Murex platform.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and Oracle database objects to support business requirements.
• Build and maintain Java-based integrations and customizations where required.
• Perform impact analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Estimate testing efforts for Murex enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Prepare and execute test plans for CAB (Change Advisory Board) releases, system upgrades, and project implementations.
• Coordinate with QA and business users during SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Support release management, system migrations, and production rollouts.
• Ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Required Skills:

• 6–9 years of experience in Murex development and support.
• Strong expertise in the Murex platform.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
• Proficiency in SQL and Java programming.
• Experience working on AIX, Solaris, and Open Systems environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience in Murex testing effort estimation and test planning.
• Knowledge of CAB release processes, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking environments.
• Exposure to Murex workflow customization and interface development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and release automation practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale Murex upgrade or migration projects.
