What you will do

The objective of the position is to work inside S&A Electric Laboratory in Brugherio as Product Approval Engineer Cooking OEM.

Products in the scope: BIMW, hoods, induction hobs, boilers, mixed of FSC-gas oven-gas hob.

In this role, the resource will be responsible for:

- Validate new Finished Product Suppliers from Certification point of view.

- Collect, evaluate and maintain the database of Certification Dossiers received by Finished Products Suppliers to ensure compliance of the model to the certification requirements in force in the Countries of Destination; it applies to new products and to the existing range.

- Assure that Finished Products not produced in Candy Hoover Groups srl facilities and commercialized in Europe and United Kingdom are compliant to applicable Regulations/Legislations and Test Standard.

- Keep governance of Finished Products Certification Dossier considering new revisions of Regulations/Legislations and Test Standard.

- Be the primary interface for Market Surveillance Authorities, Trades, Customs, etc. about Finished Products Certification Dossier.

- Support Extra European Countries to get Local Certifications providing Base Certification Dossier as baseline.

- Agree with PMO & R&D Teams the need for executing internal testing in Brugherio CBI S&A Laboratories and plan it with CBI S&A Laboratory Manager. Share results with Suppliers and PMO Team.

- Share data to PMO Team to upload PLM for Materials related topics (e.g. Product recyclability, Recycled material in the product [%]; Rare earths; Precious metals; Presence of Substances of Very High Concern in the product; Recycled material in the packaging [%]; Presence of Substances of Very High Concern in the packaging; Possibilities of reuse the packaging [Yes/No]; Compostable packaging [Yes/No]; Recycled material in the printed paper [%]; Presence of Substances of Very High Concern in the printed paper; French Hazardous Substances; Endocrine disruptors substances).

- Provide low power data to be used by PMO Team to fill the R&D tree for all FINISHED PRODUCTS WITH CE/UKCA Mark (except for HOODS and WATER HEATERS for which it is not needed).

- Upload on EPREL database dossier for Hoods, Water Heaters, Ovens, Cookers, Light Sources.

- Publish notifications on SCIP Database for REACH related topics.

- Issue mandatory Declarations for each model and ask for signature of Cooking Product Line Leadership, as applicable (eg. CE, UKCA, REACH, RoHS, …) and upload in PLM.

- Get approval of the Certification Dossier from CBI S&A Manager.

- Manage Market Surveillance Authority cases by providing punctual feedback about Certification in agreement with Regulatory Affairs Team.

- Share with Marketing Team Certification Dossiers if requested by External Organizations.

- Collaborate with the European Customs Agency to guarantee the clearance of the products coming from outside EU.

- Monitoring the publication of the Regulations, Directives, Standards to understand their impact with the help of Suppliers and Certification bodies they work with.

- Support Extra European Market for Local Certification needs by interacting with Finished Product Suppliers.

What you need to succeed

Must have

Professional experience: min 3 years of working experience in technical departments.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Technical Field

Languages: Fluent in Italian & English

The position may be eligible for an individual variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs). Any additional variable compensation components and/or benefits will be governed by the applicable company policies.
