Supervisor, Production Senior

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, including assembly, fabrication, welding, and EOL testing

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient use of resources

• Monitor production processes and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain quality standards and meet customer requirements

• Manage and train production staff, ensuring that all staff members are trained to perform their duties efficiently and safely

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed

• Develop and implement safety procedures and guidelines to ensure that all production processes are performed safely

• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to improve production processes and meet customer requirements

• Ensure that all production processes comply with industry standards and regulations

• Understanding of product design and development processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)

• Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing environments

• Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress, efficiency, and any issues that arise

• Experience with quality control systems and methodologies

• Understanding of statistical process control and other quality monitoring tools

• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

• Knowledge of ISO, TS, or other quality management system standards

• Ability to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures

• Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining quality standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Sound knowledge of SAP

• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability
