Berger Moving & Storage is seeking an Operations Associate to join our team in Atlanta, GA! The Operations Associate is the liaison between clients and Berger operations.
Responsibilities for our Operations Associates include but are not limited to:
- Receive, verify, and maintain orders involving email, scanning materials, and billing documentation;
- Process shipping documents by verifying destination, route, rate, and delivery time;
- Maintain customer data and orders in computer systems;
- Communicate with customers regarding availability, shipment dates and method, producing tracking data, and current status;
- Complete daily and weekly invoices, entries, schedules, work orders, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation;
- Maintain, evaluate, and communicate status with appropriate parties;
- Other duties as assigned by management.
The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required);
- College degree (preferred);
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or in a logistics background;
- Maintain an organized workspace
- Able to complete tasks according to schedule;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong geographical skills;
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
