The role

The Core R&D Technology Lead is responsible for the end-to-end technical leadership, delivery, and lifecycle management of core R&D technology platforms, including PLM, LIMS, IMS, and Data Science & AI capabilities supporting innovation and New Product Introduction (NPI). The role will operate initially within a multi-year global transformation programme, delivering new capabilities, integrations, and operating models across R&D technology platforms. The programme is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with deployments delivered in multiple waves across regions and innovation workstreams. Due to the phased deployment approach, Business as Usual (BAU) operations will run in parallel with transformation activities for the majority of the programme duration. Following completion of the transformation, the role will transition fully into BAU ownership, retaining accountability for platform stability, evolution, and innovation enablement. In order to deliver true partnership to our functional stakeholders this role will be accountable for co-developing a strategy for the ongoing optimisation and innovation within R&D.
