In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, manage access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution and/or commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or building conditions while assisting with badge checks, package observations, and other assigned post duties in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and completing required logs and reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
