Job Title: AI Operations Engineer
Location: UK – Remote
Role Summary
We are seeking an AI Operations Engineer to provide support for our AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions and internally developed AI applications.
This is an entry-level role focused on supporting colleagues, managing support requests, and helping to keep day-to-day AI services running smoothly. The role includes assisting with simple fixes and minor changes, while escalating more complex issues to specialist teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in technology who is interested in AI and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for users of Microsoft Copilot and internal AI tools
- Respond to user queries and resolve simple issues in a timely manner
- Log, track, and update support tickets accurately
- Perform basic service checks to ensure tools are running as expected
- Assist with simple fixes and minor updates under guidance
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members or relevant teams
- Maintain clear documentation of common issues and resolutions
Required Skills & Experience
- 0–1 years’ experience in a support, administrative, or customer-facing role
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 (e.g. Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, particularly in AI
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or similar tools
- Awareness of AI or automation concepts
- Experience supporting internal systems or business applications
- Microsoft fundamentals certifications (e.g. PL-900, AZ-900)

You will be part of a growing AI team supporting a range of tools used across the business. The role offers hands-on experience with both Microsoft AI technologies and custom-built solutions, providing a strong foundation for a career in technology and AI support.
