IT Senior Manager

Role Overview

The IT Senior Manager is responsible for leading the organization's overall IT strategy, infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, and technology operations to support business objectives. This role oversees the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable IT services while driving digital initiatives, optimizing enterprise systems, and leading high-impact technology projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or any related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• At least 8+ years of IT experience, including 5 years of experience of managerial or senior leadership role, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide IT operations.
• Strong experience managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, virtualization, and enterprise applications.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise business systems, such as ERP, POS, inventory management, finance, CRM, and e-commerce platforms; experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Strong background in cybersecurity, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, data security, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux Server, virtualization technologies, and database management (e.g., MySQL or MariaDB).
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM), helpdesk operations, backup and disaster recovery planning, and business continuity.
• Proven experience leading IT projects, managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing concepts is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar) are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term technology initiatives.
• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of IT systems through effective monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, including planning, budgeting, implementation, system upgrades, and post-deployment support.
• Direct IT service delivery by overseeing technical support, incident management, preventive maintenance, and technology asset management.
• Establish and strengthen cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices to protect organizational data, systems, and digital assets.
• Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors, software solutions, and external service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence.
• Develop and maintain IT governance, documentation, technical standards, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Partner with business leaders to identify technology requirements, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements through digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team by fostering a high-performance culture, building technical capabilities, and ensuring the effective delivery of IT services.
