- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a commercial property.
- Maintain a professional armed presence and follow all firearm protocols, licensing requirements, post orders, and applicable laws.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, document incidents and patrol activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
