Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the end end facilities operations for our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru. The role is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well to-- maintained workplace that d elivers an exceptional employee experience while supporting business continuity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise, vendor management capabilities, financial acumen, and a customer centric approach to managing a modern corporate workplace.

Primary responsibilities:

Facilities Operations

• Manage the day to day operations of the facility, ensuring seamless delivery of workplace services, including housekeeping, employee transport, security, maintenance, cafeteria and other support services.

• Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and employee experience.

• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workplace effectiveness.

• Manage Oversee office infrastructure, lease negotiations, space planning, and workplace experience.

Budgeting and Financial Management

• ​Develop, manage, and monitor the annual facilities operating budget.

• Track expenditures, identify cost optimization opportunities, and ensure adherence to approved financial plans.

• Review and validate vendor invoices, monitor service-level performance, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.

Vendor and Contract Management

• Manage relationships with facility service providers, contractors, and suppliers.

• Partner with the Procurement team in vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure vendors consistently meet agreed service levels, compliance requirements, and quality standards.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, health, safety, environmental, and workplace regulations.

• Conduct regular facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks.

• Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, business continuity planning, and workplace safety programs.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the facilities team and onsite support staff.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Set performance expectations and drive operational excellence across all facility services.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, employees, landlords, and external partners.

• Address facility-related concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Partner with business leaders, HR, IT, Security, and Administration teams to support workplace initiatives and business requirements.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Professional certifications such as IFMA (FMP/CFM), BIFM/IWFM, will be an added advantage.

• 10–12 years of progressive experience in corporate facilities management, preferably supporting Global Capability Centers (GCCs), multinational organizations, or corporate office environments.

• Demonstrated experience in managing facility operations, vendor management, workplace services, budgeting, and team leadership.

• Awareness of statutory and regulatory compliance

• High levels of ownership, integrity, and accountability .
