Position Overview:
We are seeking a CPA Registered Senior Accountant with strong retail and inventory experience to lead improvements in accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness. This role is not about simply maintaining the status quo—we need someone who can challenge existing practices, propose better solutions, and act as a thought partner to management. The successful candidate will help take responsibilities off leadership’s plate, enabling focus on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi-branch operations.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, RAMP) and financial automation tools.
Communication platforms (Microsoft Teams)
Expertise in retail and inventory accounting, including POS accruals, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis.
Advanced proficiency in RAMP, QuickBooks Enterprise and/or NetSuite ERP (implementation and migration experience preferred).
Expertise in retail and inventory accounting, including POS accruals, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis.
Skilled in financial reconciliations (multi-entity, payroll timing, historical adjustments).
Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements and supporting external audits.
Ability to design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflows.
Competence in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Familiarity with automation tools (AI-enabled invoice uploads, OCR systems, AP/AR automation).
Strong command of Excel and financial modeling (pivot tables, advanced formulas, scenario analysis).
Knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks for multi-branch operations.
Soft Skills Required:
Analytical mindset – able to identify root causes of accounting deficiencies and propose practical solutions.
Process improvement orientation – proactive in streamlining workflows, documenting SOPs, and introducing automation.
Communication skills – clear and professional in explaining complex accounting issues to non-finance stakeholders, including management and external partners.
Collaboration – works effectively with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, auditors, ERP consultants) and acts as a thought partner rather than just a task executor.
Leadership and mentoring – capable of guiding junior accountants, setting standards, and fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Adaptability – comfortable working in evolving environments, including ERP migrations and policy changes.
Integrity and accountability – maintain high ethical standards and ownership of financial reporting.
Strategic thinking – able to connect day-to-day accounting with broader business goals, investor reporting, and audit readiness.
Other Job Requirement:
Willingness to work on-site or hybrid depending on client requirements.
Flexibility to support extended hours during month-end close, audits, or ERP migration phases.
Strong documentation discipline for SOPs, reconciliations, and audit trails.
Familiarity with multi-branch retail operations and consolidation of financials across entities.
Professional certification equivalents (CPA/CA) recognized internationally are an advantage.
