Department Secretary

Responsibilities

The Department Secretary is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care and assists with departmental organizational activities with the leaders of the department. Assists in the coordination of department activities by effectively performing clerical, receptionist, scheduling and communication duties. Assists in maintaining a safe and organized environment for the department(s).

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.   High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires.2.   Medical terminology preferred.3.   Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.40 to $26.61. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
