POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail & Rental Administrative Coordinator supports the Sr. Rental Manager and the rental BU’s as a whole. This role is expected to perform administrative duties in relation to the rental operations for SSRC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Rental email communications and reservation entry
Rental appointment system setup and updating
Rental Serialization updates, repairs and implementation
Assist in rental & demo inventory split and store delivery
Maintain and respond appropriately to the rental@steamboat inbox
Perform front line duties as described in the Rental & Retail Associate Job Descriptions
Promote safety and security awareness and protocol. Assist with meeting necessary OSHA requirement for the department (SDS Documents)
Assist with on-going staff training
Assist Rental-Retail management team and outside departments with communication of memos, emails and other company messaging to front line staff
Plan for and anticipate the next day/week/month projects
Assist Management staff with project completion through the company work request system
Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Manage and provide satisfactory and timely guest resolution for Customer relations and complaints that come into the department through various avenues.
Attend weekly staff meetings
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be highly organized and able to quickly file and retrieve information using computer software.
Must be proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word
Must be able to quickly and comfortably learn new administrative programs necessary to complete tasks
Mathematical skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percent’s
Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers.
Must possess Guest service skills to ensure that quality and consistent customer service standards are met. Ability to be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards
Exceptional people and language skills
Prompt, accurate and professional judgment in a fast-paced environment.
1-year experience running the current POS system(s)
2 year guest service experience
Must have experience with Microsoft office
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel including formatting, formulas, pivot tables and graph creation
Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards
Must have valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet company’s insurability standards (will be required to complete Motor Vehicle Record)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Post high school administrative or retail rental experience required
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be minimum 18 years of age
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50lbs.
Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend and stand for long periods of time
