Summary:
Responsible for creating an environment of service excellence through positive interactions with patients, their families, visitors, physicians, and hospital staff. Promotes a “guest first” culture through role modeling outstanding customer service skills and attitude. Greets and directs patients entering the Outpatient Testing Center (OPTC) in a professional manner that follows Silver Cross Hospital’s mission, vision and values. Directs patient flow between arrival, registration, treatment, and departure. Acts as liaison between patients, their families, visitors, OPTC staff, and at times the referring physician office staff.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years Registration or Hospital Operations experience. Bi-lingual preferred. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (approximately 75%-80% of shift). Must demonstrates strong communications skills and be committed to customer satisfaction. Ability to work well in team environment. Ability to adapt to changing environment. Must be comfortable with computers and technology.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
$20.33 - $25.41The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
