What You Will Do

• Design and implement efficient, scalable APIs and interfaces connecting the frontend to backend systems.

• Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using Next.js, ensuring exceptional performance and experience across devices.

• Optimize applications for scalability, maintainability, and speed, balancing rapid iteration with strong engineering discipline.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and researchers to scope, architect, and ship new features end-to-end.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack: frontend rendering, backend integration, CI/CD, deployment, and performance.

• Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, technical architecture, and best practices for a growing team.

• Drive 0→1 product development, turning prototypes into robust, production-ready features.

Ideal Background

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack or frontend-leaning engineer.

• Strong technical foundation (CS degree preferred or equivalent experience).

• Deep expertise in Next.js is required.

• Experience with modern frontend technologies: React, TypeScript, CSS frameworks.

• Hands-on backend experience at the application level: API design, database interaction, debugging backend integrations.

• Understanding of performance optimization and scalable system design.

• Experience building in early-stage startups or 0→1 product environments.

• High ownership mindset—comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and iterating rapidly.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Prior experience working closely with product and design teams.
