KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Head of Equity Research is responsible for managing, supervising, and monitoring the equity research activities and output of the team of Equity Fund Managers and Equity Analysts. He/she works with the team to initiate and update coverage of stocks in the equity universe, and form investment views, priorities and preferences of stocks to be the basis for construction of equity portfolios. He/she assists the Head of Investments &/or Deputy Head of Equity to apply research, valuation and documentation consistent with the team’s equity investment philosophy and procedures. He/she is also responsible for leading the Analyst Model Portfolio and its application to specified equity portfolios.

• Lead and oversee the equity research function, including the work produced by Equity Analysts and Equity Portfolio Managers who have dual portfolio management and analyst responsibilities, ensuring compliance with all research, governance, and record-keeping requirements.

• Work with the team to maintain and regularly update coverage of stocks within the equity universe, providing fair valuations and investment recommendations (Buy/Hold/Sell).

• Maintain, enhance, and execute the team's equity investment philosophy, research framework, and investment processes. Drive the generation of alpha-producing investment ideas, challenge assumptions, and facilitate robust investment discussions.

• Lead and coordinate the team's dual mandate across local Indonesian equity coverage and regional research initiatives, serving as a trusted research hub for local investment teams and regional stakeholders.

• Drive regionalisation by supporting a unified regional equity platform, balancing local Indonesian market requirements with regional research expectations, and fostering collaboration across Local Business Units (LBUs) while maintaining strong governance and local relevance.

• Work with the team to assess material ESG issues, oversee ESG engagement activities, support proxy voting decisions, and ensure appropriate reporting.

• Lead the adoption of AI-enabled research capabilities, including AI agents, research automation, and multi-agent research processes, to enhance research quality, productivity, investment insights, and collaboration across local and regional teams.

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing research team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous development while supporting the growth of both local and regional research capabilities.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and technology adoption, encouraging the team to leverage emerging tools, data sources, and investment research methodologies.

• Lead the Analyst Model Portfolio ("AMP"), including identifying key investment ideas, facilitating portfolio rebalancing discussions, and making final portfolio decisions. AMP is applied to specified equity portfolios.
