Join us as a Senior CRM Manager for Central Europe, taking primary ownership of Germany and secondary ownership of Austria—two important markets in Qonto’s growth strategy. You’ll develop lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, retention, expansion, and churn prevention, driving measurable business growth and feature adoption. You’ll report to Matias del Carril, our CRM & Lifecycle Lead, and work closely with local marketing, product, and growth teams.
➡️ What you'll do
- Own the CRM strategy for Germany and Austria: Define and implement lifecycle communications, with Germany as your primary market and Austria as your secondary market.
- Partner with local teams: Collaborate closely with German and Austrian marketing teams, including local marketing managers and PMMs, to develop effective CRM initiatives.
- Build the regional playbook: Establish the processes, planning cadence, and ways of working for CRM across Germany and Austria.
- Move fast with AI: Use AI tools to speed up campaign builds, testing, and reporting.
- Present results that matter: Report on conversion, feature adoption, and business impact to marketing and product stakeholders.
➡️ What we're looking for
- Fluency in German and English: You are fluent in German and can create effective lifecycle communications with a strong understanding of the local business culture, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. You are also fluent in English and can collaborate confidently across international teams.
- Strong CRM experience: You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, ideally within a fast-paced technology company.
- CRM platform expertise: You have designed and managed complex, multi-step customer journeys using platforms such as Braze, Customer.io, or HubSpot.
- Proactive by default: You build relationships across marketing, product, and ops, and push initiatives forward without waiting to be asked.
- Comfort with ambiguity: You can set direction, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum in an evolving regional structure.
- Strong stakeholder management: You can build credibility with senior stakeholders across multiple markets and manage each market’s priorities independently.
- An AI-enabled approach: You use AI to improve the speed and quality of campaign creation, testing, and analysis.
➡️ What we can offer you
- Qonto's #1 OKR: Germany is the company's top growth priority right now, so what you build here gets seen.
- A market to build, not optimize: German CRM is still underdeveloped — you're writing the playbook, not inheriting one.
- Real autonomy: You propose, implement, and test your own lifecycle strategy.
- A senior team around you: You'll work alongside three other regional CRM leads who've each built lifecycle functions from scratch.
➡️ Your future manager
You'll report to Matias our lead in CRM & Lifecycle at Qonto, with 2 years at the company already under his belt. He has experience building lifecycle functions from the ground up at AstroPay and leading a regional CRM team at the DeliveryHero group, powering impactful growth. He brings a data-driven but creative touch to lifecycle strategy, with a transparent and casual style that values teamwork while giving teammates the autonomy and independence to take initiative and run their own projects
