Silver Star Construction is looking for an experienced Roadway Asphalt Paving Foreman to oversee paving crews on highway and civil construction projects across Oklahoma.

Position Summary

The Asphalt Paving Foreman is responsible for directing field operations, coordinating crews, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring every project is completed safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties

• Lead asphalt paving crews on commercial and highway projects.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment each day.
• Monitor paving quality and production goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings.
• Train and mentor field employees.
• Maintain accurate project reports and equipment inspections.
• Communicate with superintendents regarding project status.
• Address jobsite issues to keep projects moving.

Requirements

• Five years of asphalt paving experience required.
• Leadership experience managing paving crews.
• Knowledge of paving equipment and roadway construction practices.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Bend, climb, squat, kneel, reach, and perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as projects require.
