Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Process and maintain records of licensee applications.
· Maintain appropriate files and records.
· Know gaming laws and amendments and stay current on changes.
· Be familiar with the Freedom of Information Act and the requirements of confidentiality.
· Perform background investigations on all gaming employees.
· Be responsible for electronic fingerprinting of all gaming employees
· Process applications from start to finish and submit them to Executive Director for review and approval.
· Prepare reports to determine the suitability of licensing each applicant.
· Ensure licensing deadlines are met.
· Be responsible for all license renewals on gaming employees.
· Maintain changes and stay current on all employee files.
· Be available to assist in auditing licensing files.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Related work experience and/or higher education preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possess knowledge of Tribal, State and Federal Gaming Laws and Regulations.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for contact with the general public, employees, and governmental and business associates.
- Organizational and record-keeping skills are necessary for accurate maintenance of files, correspondence, and follow-up.
- Proficiency with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and the Internet.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers, and general public.
Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.

Work Requirements:
Position involves prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 30 pounds on a daily basis. Work is generally performed in an office environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and/or temperature.
