Marketing and Retail Coordinator - WFJ
Location: CHANEL Toronto, Ontario CHANEL
Reports to: Director – Watches and Fine Jewellery Division
Contract: Full-time and Temporary (Ending in December 2026)
Your role @Chanel:
The Marketing and Retail Coordinator – Watches and Fine Jewellery (WFJ) Division will provide immediate executional and coordination support to the WFJ Division function during a period of expanded business activity. This temporary role is designed to strengthen follow-through, organization, reporting, and cross-functional coordination across product launches, client activations, retail communication, and divisional planning.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
Maintain, update, and disseminate key WFJ information via trackers, calendars, event timelines, retail communication, post-activation recap templates, and Teams Channels to key stakeholders
Support product launch execution by coordinating timelines, assets, training communications, VM requirements, CRM needs, and follow-up actions across internal partners.
Assist with client activation and event preparation – specifically supporting Key High-End Business and End-of-Year activations including invitation lists, RSVP tracking, client targeting support, event briefs, gifting coordination, vendor follow-up, and post-event reporting.
Prepare first drafts of internal communications, launch packages, boutique reminders, meeting notes, and recap documents for review by the Marketing Manager / WFJ Director
Compile recurring business and campaign information, including KPI performance, event results, product priorities, and boutique feedback.
Support meeting preparation by organizing agendas, consolidating inputs, capturing action items, and tracking follow-up with internal stakeholders to ensure TIMELINESS for all projects
Coordinate with CRM, Retail, Operations, Finance, PR, Media, VM, and boutique teams to help move agreed priorities forward and surface any delays, gaps, or required decisions.
Provide administrative and budget coordination support, including PO follow-up, invoice tracking, supplier coordination, sample movement, and basic reconciliation support where required.

What you will bring to the role:
1–3 years of experience in marketing, retail coordination, client development, events, luxury retail, product coordination, or a related field.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and comfort managing multiple timelines at once.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, polished, and accurate internal materials.
Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, shared trackers, calendars, and reporting templates.
Collaborative, discreet, service-minded, and able to work with multiple internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in luxury, watches, fine jewellery, client experience, retail, and brand storytelling considered an asset.
Success Measures:
KPIs: Accuracy of trackers and reporting, timeliness of follow-up, quality of coordination, launch and event readiness, responsiveness to retail and cross-functional partners, thoroughness of communication

Reducing operational bottlenecks by ensuring that initiatives are tracked, coordinated, and advanced in a timely manner for sharing with global and highlighting excellence of execution in Canada.
Improving consistency in retail-facing communication, launch readiness, event preparation, and post-initiative reporting.

Competitive Salary: $57,000-62,000 annual base salary
