Scheduled Weekly Hours:
32Registered Nurse (RN) – Podiatry Clinic
Location: Main Clinic, 2nd Floor – La Crosse, WI with occasional coverage in Onalaska (1-2 days per week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibility
FTE: Part-time, 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)

You'll care for a diverse patient population while developing specialized skills in foot and ankle health, wound care, diabetic foot management, and post-operative recovery. What You'll Do
Provide telephone triage and clinical assessment for patients with podiatric concerns.
Manage EPIC in-baskets, MyChart messages, and medication refills.
Perform nurse-only visits, including pre- and post-operative appointments and wound checks.
Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments as needed.
Educate patients on crutch use, wound care, and durable medical equipment such as walking boots and wound vacs.
Care for patients with conditions including fractures, sprains, Achilles tendon injuries, foot deformities, diabetic foot complications, wounds, and amputations.
Collaborate closely with podiatrists, advanced practice providers, residents, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
Enjoy a balanced role that includes approximately 50% direct patient care and 50% phone and computer-based nursing responsibilities.
What You Need
Must Have:
Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
One year or more nursing experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
