Category Manager, Consumer Devices

We're looking for a Category Manager, Consumer Devices to join us at Telia.

I'm Iain Mackay, Head of Equipment Business in Consumer Division, and I'm searching for someone ready to grow with us.

In this role, you'll take ownership of a product category and work closely with vendors, marketing, retail, supply chain and other stakeholders to bring the right products, offers and campaigns to our customers. We're hiring for two Category Manager positions with different levels of seniority, so we welcome both experienced professionals and high-potential candidates eager to grow in the role. The most important thing is that you're a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with others and driving commercial results.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you'll combine commercial thinking, stakeholder management and strategic planning to develop your category and drive business results.

• Manage a product category portfolio and its commercial performance
• Build and develop relationships with vendors, manufacturers and other external partners
• Plan and execute pricing activities, campaigns and commercial initiatives together with marketing, retail and supply chain teams
• Drive improvements to processes, ways of working and category performance through data, insights and stakeholder collaboration

What will help you thrive in this role:

The suitable candidate is a proactive, strategic, analytical and solution-oriented professional with an interest in the latest devices and technologies. Solid stakeholder management and problem-solving skills are also necessary attributed for this role.

• Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong negotiation and commercial planning skills
• Ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities and drive results
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

It would be considered an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in Category Management, Retail or FMCG environments
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers or strategic partnerships
• Project management experience
• Interest in consumer technology products and market trends

​Monthly salary range for this position – 3300 - 4200 Eur (gross) plus annual bonus, depending on results achieved.
