Description

We are looking for a structured, commercially minded and detail-oriented Tender Specialist (x|f|m) to manage and coordinate tender activities across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The Tender Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of tender processes from identifying and qualifying relevant tender opportunities through bid preparation and submission to post-tender follow-up. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, Customer Service and external partners. The candidate combines strong project management skills with an understanding of international tender processes and a high level of cultural awareness when working across diverse markets.

  • Identify, monitor and evaluate relevant public and private tender opportunities across Africa and the Middle East.

  • Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, commercial requirements, contractual terms and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate the complete tender process from initial opportunity assessment through final submission.
  • Prepare and maintain tender schedules, submission plans and internal deadlines.
  • Ensure all tender requirements are addressed accurately, completely and within the required deadlines.
  • Coordinate the preparation, consolidation and submission of technical, commercial and administrative documentation.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between Sales, Service, Finance, Legal and Customer Service.
  • Coordinate input from internal stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of all required documents and information.
  • Support Bid/No-Bid decision by Sales team by providing structured assessments of opportunities, requirements, risks and commercial potential.
  • Coordinate with local distributors, agents, business partners and subcontractors where applicable.
  • Support the Sales team in developing competitive and compliant tender submissions.
  • Review commercial requirements, pricing structures and payment terms in cooperation with Finance, Sales and Service.
  • Monitor market developments, customer requirements and tender trends across the region.
  • Support the identification of new business opportunities arising from tenders and public procurement activities.
  • Track tender outcomes, communicate to Sales teams and support the analysis of successful and unsuccessful bids.
  • Maintain accurate tender pipelines, forecasts and management reports.
  • Track key tender KPIs, including submission volume, win rate, tender value and conversion rates.
  • Conduct post-tender reviews and identify tender opportunities to improve future submissions.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates, processes and best practices for tender management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and company policies.
  • Manage tender clarifications, amendments, Q&A processes and subsequent submissions.
  • Maintain a structured tender database and ensure all relevant documentation is properly archived.

 

What will convince us

  • Proven years of professional experience in Tender Management, Bid Management, Sales Operations, Export Sales or International Business.
  • Proven experience managing complex tender processes and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in an international B2B environment; experience with customers or partners in Africa and/or the Middle East is highly desirable.
  • Experience with public procurement, government tenders or large international projects is an advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex tender documentation and contractual requirements.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English, Arabic and French is essential.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
