Packs EMEA (Eastpak, Kipling & JanSport) is looking for an exceptional Inventory Planner to join our EMEA Operational Planning team based in Antwerp, Belgium.
Let’s talk about the role!
As Inventory Planner you will join the Planning & Go To Market department. In this role you will take full responsibility of the inventory management of Eastpak products for EMEA keeping both the short- and long-term plan in mind. Balance supply to demand in such a way that maximizes product availability while keeping inventory levels under control.
Analyse buy proposals and inventory KPIs to avoid stock disruptions and overstock, monitor and report on supply and inventory performance. Maintain close contacts with sales, customer service, VF Asia Sourcing, logistics and distribution teams to ensure open communication and proper information flow. You will be reporting to the Snr. Demand & Inventory Manager.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
Together with the Snr. Demand & Inventory manager you define the inventory strategy before the season starts considering market demand needs and inventory targets and you refine the strategy each buy moment based on current market conditions.
Review, update and confirm the monthly buy proposal while considering all our key inventory KPIs (e.g. on-time performance, excess inventory, surcharges, inventory targets)
Work closely with the global supply planning organization in Singapore and your counterparts for the Eastpak brand in the other regions to collaborate on the monthly buy definition, aligning on hitting global minimums, pulling/pushing supply needs, mitigate capacity challenges and supply issues
Participate in weekly/monthly calls with the sourcing organization in Asia on outstanding issues and process improvements opportunities
Manage monthly supply prioritization to ensure inventory at DC is in line with inventory targets without disrupting order delivery to customer
Monitor stock coverage on our high runner products and adjust our inventory strategy accordingly to ensure we are always in stock.
Build, automate and analyse reports on a daily, bi-weekly and seasonal basis for on-time order coverage, supply arrival at DC and detailed inventory levels of product categories. Take corrective actions where needed.
Act as point of contact for the PACKS planning org alongside your manager in global project implementations.
Support and act as back-up for other members of the planning team.
Skills for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Sciences, Transport, Logistics or another relevant field linked to Planning or Supply Chain Management.
1-5 years working experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Planning
You like working with numbers and have an analytical mind
You are accurate and have a sharp eye for details
You enjoy working with others, listening to and understanding their point of view and identify solutions together.
You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SAP, Power BI is an asset
Fluent in English, spoken as well as written.

Hiring Range:
€40,646.40 EUR - €50,808.00 EURannually
