Intel is seeking a motivated and curious Module Engineering Graduate Intern to join our semiconductor manufacturing team in Chandler, Arizona. This is a hands-on internship opportunity designed for graduate-level students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world, fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for a specific module in semiconductor manufacturing, gaining invaluable experience working alongside world-class engineers on projects that directly impact Intel's production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for a specific module within semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Assist in sustaining and improving manufacturing equipment through troubleshooting, maintenance, and qualification activities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process control methodologies and contribute to meeting production targets.
Support manufacturing tooling development activities related to new product introduction (NPI) and product test tooling.
Apply knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles in a hands-on lab and production environment.
Utilize engineering tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support design and analysis tasks.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), basic statistics, and lab metrology to support quality and precision requirements.
Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or equivalent technical field.
6+ months of academic or work experience in a related field like manufacturing tooling development supporting new product introduction and product test tooling.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience or knowledge in
SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), basic statistics, lab metrology, and instruments.
Manufacturing tooling development supporting new product introduction and product test tooling.
Design for manufacturability (DFM) environments, including handling test tooling, kit handlers, semiconductor testing, and lean manufacturing.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $75,800.00-102,500.00 USD
