Machine Assistant – Springfield, MO
Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3pm – 11pm
Pay: $21.03 per hour

We are hiring a Machine Assistant for our 3rd shift manufacturing team in Springfield, MO. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. You'll assist with machine operation, support production goals, and help ensure quality products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation
- Support production by monitoring quality and ensuring products meet specifications
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting using hand tools
- Record production data, downtime, and maintenance information accurately using computer systems
- Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of stable manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attendance and reliability are required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and production processes
- Basic computer skills for production documentation
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic manufacturing math
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment that may be hot and humid
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including up to 12-hour shifts and occasional weekends
Schedule
- Overtime may be required before or after scheduled shifts
