This position provides dedicated application development support for the AndiSense platform and plays a critical role in delivering capabilities that support the accelerated BSSe program. This role is focused on hands-on software development, application enhancements, automation, testing, and production support.
What You'll Do
Develop, test, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications and services that support business objectives and user needs.
Build new application features and enhance existing functionality using modern development tools, including AI-assisted IDEs such as Visual Studio Code, Windsurf, or similar platforms.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and secure code following established engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand requirements and translate user stories into working software solutions.
Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, testing, and release activities.
Leverage DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to improve software quality, deployment efficiency, and reliability.
Create and maintain automated testing solutions, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and implement enhancements that improve functionality, scalability, performance, and user experience.
Support production applications through monitoring, issue resolution, maintenance, and ongoing application improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation and development artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver critical capabilities that support the AndiSense roadmap and key AI program commitments.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience developing AI-enabled applications or leveraging AI technologies within software solutions.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools and IDEs such as Visual Studio Code, Windsurf, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and test automation frameworks.
Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex application issues.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and experience developing APIs, integrations, or web-based applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience supporting AI, automation, analytics, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
Experience developing cloud-based applications and services.
Relevant technical certifications are preferred and may be required in certain areas.
