Overview
Overnight Security (Part-Time) | Outbound Sedona
Join the team at Outbound Sedona as a Part-Time Overnight Security team member. In this role, you will help ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests, team members, and property during overnight hours. Responsibilities include conducting routine property patrols, responding to guest needs, monitoring the premises, and reporting any safety or security concerns. We are looking for a dependable, professional individual who enjoys working independently and is committed to providing a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on property.
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols throughout the property to help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets.
- Serve as the primary overnight responder for alarms, guest assistance requests, medical situations, and other emergencies.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and incidents.
- Investigate security and safety-related incidents and prepare clear, accurate, and objective reports documenting findings and actions taken.
- Identify and address immediate safety concerns, respond promptly to incidents, and provide emergency assistance when necessary.
- Keep detailed logs, activity notes, and shift reports to ensure accurate recordkeeping and effective communication between shifts.
- Communicate important updates, incidents, and follow-up items to the incoming shift to support seamless operations.
- Assist guests as needed while promoting a welcoming and secure atmosphere throughout the property.
- Perform other duties and special assignments as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the position will also be considered.
- Previous security, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass applicable background screening requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations.
- Excellent observation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
