Description
Bowser Automotive is looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounting Administrator to join our team. This is a key position within our accounting and business operations, responsible for ensuring employees across multiple dealership locations are paid accurately and on time while also supporting important accounting functions.

DUTIES
• Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multiple dealership locations accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure payroll information is accurate and up to date.
• Partner with Human Resources on new hires, employee changes, benefits deductions, and other payroll matters.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with daily accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger support.
• Manage vehicle deal posting and ensure deals are accurately recorded and properly documented.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Work closely with department managers to research and resolve accounting questions or discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and financial information.
• Assist with additional payroll and accounting projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of payroll and accounting experience.
• Previous experience using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including the ability to organize, review, and reconcile data.
• Automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems; Paycom experience is a plus.
• Accounting software experience required.
• CDK experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
