We are currently seeking an experienced and diligent part-time Security Supervisor to support operations at JFK Airport, Terminal 4 (JFKIAT). 

Compensation: $27.75 per hour 

Available Shifts (rotating, weekend availability required): 

• 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
• 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM

Position Summary

The part-time Security Supervisor serves as front-line leadership, responsible for the daily supervision of security personnel, enforcement of JFKIAT standards, operational audits, and real-time response support. This role covers weekend and rotating shift coverage across all three shift windows above and ensures post integrity, access control compliance, and professional conduct across all assigned Terminal 4 security posts.

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise, support, and oversee all security agents assigned to Terminal 4 posts
• Conduct routine post inspections, audits, and breach response validation
• Prepare and submit staffing, activity, and incident reports prior to each shift
• Monitor access control systems and ensure strict adherence to post requirements
• Support emergency response operations and implement required corrective actions
• Provide corrective coaching and performance guidance when necessary
• Maintain strong radio discipline and clear communication at all times
• Escalate operational concerns, incidents, or compliance issues to the Contract Manager

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

• Minimum 3 years of airport or terminal security experience
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including radio protocol
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and access control systems
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED, and Fire Guard certifications
• Ability to work a part-time, rotating schedule that includes weekends and any of the three shift windows listed above

Physical and Work Requirements 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, and navigating large terminal environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds unassisted
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergency situations
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, high security, public facing environment
