Position Overview
The Andersons' Information Services (IS) Internship Program provides students with hands-on experience supporting technology initiatives that drive business success across the organization. Interns work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects, gain exposure to enterprise technology environments, and develop skills that prepare them for future careers in technology.
Applicants will be considered for all Information Services internship opportunities that align with their interests, qualifications, and business needs. Candidates selected for the program will be matched to the internship opportunity that best aligns with their background, interests, and business needs.
Internship Opportunities
AI Application Development Intern: Support initiatives focused on artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies. Interns may assist with AI-related projects, research efforts, technology evaluations, solution testing, and identifying opportunities to improve business processes through innovation.
Application Development Intern: Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications and technology solutions. Interns may assist with application development projects, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and software development activities using technologies such as C#/.NET. Opportunities also include exposure to AI-assisted development tools and modern software development practices.
Cybersecurity Intern: Support the Information Security team in protecting company systems, data, and technology assets. Interns may assist with security projects, reporting, documentation, analysis, and other activities that provide exposure to cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Data Analytics Intern: Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives that help transform data into actionable insights. Interns may assist with data collection, analysis, dashboard development, reporting, data quality activities, and identifying trends that support business decision-making.
Infrastructure Intern: Support enterprise infrastructure operations with a focus on server technologies, systems administration, and core technology services. Interns may assist with infrastructure projects, system monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and initiatives that improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support projects, processes, and technology initiatives within your assigned area
Collaborate with IS team members, business partners, and cross-functional teams
Gather, organize, analyze, and maintain information that supports business and technology objectives
Create and maintain reports, documentation, presentations, dashboards, or other project materials
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and technology-related activities
Gain exposure to enterprise technologies, business processes, and professional development opportunities

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related major
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies.
