Job Description
The Credit Support Manager leads a team responsible for the end-to-end execution, control, and oversight of credit support activities across Wealth Management lending. This includes loan documentation, collateral management, and credit analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
This role oversees the preparation, review, and validation of complex loan and collateral documentation, ensuring proper collateral valuation, perfection, and ongoing monitoring throughout the life of the loan. The manager is accountable for maintaining strong risk controls, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of all credit-related data and documentation. In addition, the role provides leadership in credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and decision support to optimize credit quality and minimize risk exposure. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in secured lending and documentation, and the ability to partner effectively across underwriting, legal, operations, and relationship management teams.
Required Qualifications:
-Three or more years of revelant management experience
Desired Qualifications:
-In-depth knowledge of credit policies, lending programs, and financial analysis
-Strong understanding of asset-based lending (ABL) policies, procedures, and collateral structures
-Advanced knowledge of secured lending requirements and documentation standards
-Thorough knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations
-Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
-Ability to manage complex documentation and control processes with high accuracy
-Proficiency with systems and tools supporting credit operations and collateral tracking
-Proven people management and team leadership capabilities
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact across multiple stakeholder groups
-Ability to influence, problem-solve, and drive accountability within a team environment

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
