Why We Need This Role
The account operates within a complex ISB governance environment, including:
- Formal deal governance forums (deal reviews, solution reviews) with strict submission criteria, approval thresholds, and cadence.
- Structured decision approval processes across demand, procurement, and headcount, involving multiple approval layers and stakeholders
- Requirement for traceability, compliance, and auditability of decisions and approvals across the account
Without a dedicated governance lead, there is risk of:
- Missed or delayed approvals
- Poor submission quality
- Lack of visibility and audit trail
- Inconsistent processes across teams
Key Accountabilities
1. ISB Governance Oversight (Core Accountability)
- Own and oversee governance across the account, ensuring alignment with ISB policies and processes
- Ensure full compliance with:
- Deal governance (Deal Reviews, Solution Reviews)
- Demand and approval processes
- Procurement and financial governance
- Act as the single point of coordination for governance-related activities
2. Sales Governance (Deal & Solution Reviews)
- Manage and coordinate submissions into ISB governance forums, including:
- Deal Review Forums
- Solution Review Forums
- Ensure:
- Submissions meet required criteria, thresholds, and timelines
- Materials are complete and of high quality prior to submission
- Track outcomes, approvals, and required follow-up actions
- ISB governance forums require structured submission processes, defined thresholds, and formal approvals prior to progression
3. Governance Model & Process Ownership
- Define, implement, and maintain a clear governance model across the account, covering:
- Decision approval processes
- Operations governance forums and cadence
- Submission processes and templates
- Standardise and improve governance processes to ensure:
- Consistency
- Efficiency
- Transparency
4. Decision Governance & Traceability
- Ensure all decisions and approvals are:
- Properly recorded
- Tracked
- Auditable
- Maintain and manage decision logs / approval trackers
- Provide visibility of decisions and status across stakeholders
👉 Current ISB processes emphasise centralised tracking and visibility of all approvals and decision outcomes
5. Business Reviews (MBR / QBR Support)
- Support monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Work with Finance and leadership to:
- Produce governance-aligned reporting
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Provide structured updates on:
- Approvals and governance progress
- Risks and issues
- Compliance status
6. Cross-Functional Governance Coordination
- Work across:
- Sales (deal governance)
- Resource Management (HC approvals)
- Procurement (P.O.s, SOWs)
- Finance (affordability, approvals, reviews)
- Ensure all areas operate within a consistent governance framework
Profile We Need
This is a control and coordination leadership role, not just admin.
