In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Application Support Specialist to join our team in Athens. 

• Monitor and maintain agreed SLAs and KPIs for the support team's projects, ensuring consistent service quality 

• Ensure the effective management of incidents, requests, problems, and changes across supported applications 

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve first-level operational and business issues that do not require technical development interventions 

• Use SQL to search, analyze, and verify data in order to identify root causes and support issue resolution 

• Leverage logging, monitoring, and observability tools to detect, diagnose, and track application-related events and anomalies 

• Utilize API testing tools (e.g. Postman) to investigate system-to-system interface issues and validate data exchanges 

• Manage incidents, requests, and problems through ticketing systems, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up 

• Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth service continuity 

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance support processes and application performance 

What you bring matters 

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field 

• 2+ years of experience in an Application Support or Operational Support role for business applications 

• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, analyzing, and verifying data 

• Solid understanding of web application architecture and communication via REST APIs 

• Proven experience investigating and resolving issues in production environments 

• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools 

• Experience managing incidents, requests, and problems through ticketing systems 

• Understanding of core system integration concepts, with hands-on experience using API testing tools (e.g. Postman) 

• A proactive mindset with a strong orientation towards continuous improvement 

• Knowledge and practical experience with ITSM tools (such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar) is considered a plus 

• Good communication and organizational skills 

• Understanding of core networking concepts (DNS, SSL/TLS, Reverse Proxy, Firewalls) is considered a plus
