A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Sales Manager will lead and drive commercial activities across the South of France. Ideally Lyon Area but flexibility can be give if you have good access.
This role is accountable for achieving sales targets, accelerating market growth, and strengthening the capability and performance of a regional team of 6 direct reports. The Sales Manager will play a key part in executing the national commercial strategy, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring an excellent customer experience, in line with Tandem Diabetes International’s values and objectives.

- Own full accountability for the region’s commercial performance, including achievement of sales targets, market share growth, business expansion, and strategic territory planning to drive sustainable results.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales and clinical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, healthcare decision-makers, home healthcare providers, patient associations, and advocacy groups, while ensuring exceptional customer support and representing the organization at industry events and professional forums.
- Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to support business objectives, leverage competitive intelligence, identify market opportunities, and deliver accurate performance analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, while championing a strong patient-centric mindset and prioritizing the needs and outcomes of patients in all business activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the French healthcare system, decision-making pathways and market access challenges.
- Excellent professional English (spoken and written), essential to succeed in an international environment (HQ interactions, reporting, training and cross-functional collaboration).
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capability.
- Results-driven, with a strong motivation to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes.
- Inspiring leadership style, able to engage and mobilize diverse teams.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
EXTRA AWESOME
- Proven success in medical device, MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and stakeholder engagement within France.
- Excellent coaching, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in diabetes, chronic disease management, digital health, or connected care solutions.
- Ability to analyse commercial performance and translate insights into action plans.
- Fluency in French and strong business-level English.
- A degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
