The Senior Data Coordinator will serve as the day-to-day lead for a team of Data Specialists supporting strategic data, technology, and operational initiatives across Lincoln International's Valuations & Opinions Group. This is a hands-on working-lead role. In addition to setting daily priorities, coordinating workloads, coaching early-career team members, and reviewing work quality, this individual will be expected to perform the team’s core data and operational responsibilities as needed, particularly during periods of high volume, complex assignments, or limited team capacity.
The role will support client onboarding to Lincoln's next-generation valuation platform (Anaplan), private-market data collection and reporting, functional testing of new platform capabilities, ongoing support for valuation technology platforms, and continuous improvement initiatives, including emerging AI and data-extraction solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Anaplan Technology team, Data & Analytics, the Salesforce Data team, Product teams, and valuation professionals. The role requires strong operational discipline, financial acumen, project coordination skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders while keeping the team focused, organized, and accountable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Daily Operations
- Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to a team of Data Specialists, serving as the primary point of coordination for daily activities.
- Set priorities, assign work, and balance team capacity across multiple onboarding, data, testing, and support workstreams.
- Review team output for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness, reinforcing clear quality standards and expectations.
- Monitor productivity, turnaround times, and workflow bottlenecks; proactively adjust assignments and escalate risks when needed.
- Promote knowledge sharing, cross-training, and consistent documentation to strengthen team coverage and reduce key-person dependencies.
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members through structured guidance, feedback, and hands-on coaching.
- Remain actively involved in day-to-day execution and perform the core responsibilities of the Data Specialist team as needed, including completing complex or time-sensitive assignments, addressing capacity constraints, and modeling expected quality standards.
Client Onboarding & Project Coordination
- Coordinate the onboarding of valuation clients onto Lincoln's Anaplan platform, ensuring required data, activities, and stakeholders are aligned.
- Manage multiple concurrent onboarding, testing, and operational initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, issue logs, and status updates.
- Identify delivery risks and resource constraints early, communicate impacts clearly, and coordinate appropriate next steps.
- Facilitate cross-functional execution across Data & Analytics, the Anaplan Technology team, the Salesforce Data team, Product teams, and other Business Enablement partners.
Data Quality, Governance & Reporting
- Oversee the collection, validation, maintenance, and reporting of private-market data.
- Establish and reinforce quality-control procedures that improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
- Investigate data exceptions and recurring issues, coordinate resolution, and recommend sustainable process improvements.
- Maintain clear process documentation, operating procedures, and ownership standards to support scalable execution.
- Provide stakeholders with visibility into work status, data-quality issues, and outstanding dependencies.
Product & Technology Support
- Partner with the Anaplan Technology team on new platform capabilities and enhancements, including requirements clarification, functional testing, issue documentation, and validation of fixes.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure test scenarios, results, defects, and follow-up actions are documented clearly.
- Support valuation technology platforms by triaging user questions, coordinating issue resolution, and identifying recurring support needs.
- Support the evaluation and responsible adoption of emerging AI and data-extraction solutions that improve team productivity and data-processing capabilities.

Required Experience & Skills
- Approximately 7-8 years of relevant experience in data operations, financial analysis, valuation, financial reporting, or a related field.
- Experience providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, or work coordination for junior or early-career team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project coordination skills, including planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, issue management, and status communication.
- Analytical foundation with an understanding of financial statements and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of the team’s core data, financial analysis, and operational processes, with the ability and willingness to independently complete, troubleshoot, and provide guidance on the work performed by Data Specialists.
- Experience analyzing or preparing company financials, financial models, valuation analyses, or related reporting.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build productive working relationships across levels and functions.
- Ability to periodically work extended hours, in the office or remotely, as required to support business deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA designation completed or actively being pursued.
- Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning or workflow platform.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other data and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting technology implementations, functional testing, or user acceptance testing.
- Experience in financial services, investment banking, valuation, or a related professional-services environment.
