Role: Associate / Senior Associate, Technical
Location: Dublin City Centre – fully office-based
Department: Technical and Asset Management
An established international aircraft leasing and asset management platform is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Technical team in Dublin.
This is a fully office-based position offering broad exposure across aircraft technical management, lease monitoring, maintenance reserves, asset valuations, aircraft inspections and delivery projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal commercial teams, airline customers, OEMs, MROs and external consultants.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing monthly aircraft utilisation reports from lessees and following up on discrepancies
- Maintaining aircraft usage, maintenance, configuration and lease-related technical data
- Preparing aircraft specifications to support trading and marketing activities
- Completing aircraft and engine valuation and fly-forward analyses
- Maintaining aircraft records and maintenance, modification and cost databases
- Calculating and cross-checking monthly maintenance reserves
- Monitoring and reporting significant aircraft incidents and events
- Supporting new aircraft deliveries, periodic inspections and pre-purchase inspections
- Conducting aircraft and records reviews and preparing technical reports
- Preparing budget and recharge reports for managed aircraft
- Monitoring maintenance activities and aircraft modifications
- Supporting relationships with OEMs, MROs and external technical consultants
- Assisting with internal approvals relating to transactions and technical projects
Candidate profile:
- Degree-qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant aviation experience
- At least three years’ experience within an aircraft lessor, airline, MRO or aviation consultancy
- General knowledge of Boeing and Airbus narrow-body and wide-body aircraft
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills
- Self-motivated, practical and comfortable working independently
- Able to work effectively within a multicultural and cross-functional team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using technical or asset management systems would be advantageous
- Project management experience would also be beneficial
- Comfortable working fully onsite in Dublin
The role requires substantial international travel, so flexibility to travel regularly is essential.
