As our Environmental Lead | Client Service Manager for the Greater Los Angeles Region, you will lead the continued growth of our Environmental Services practice while serving as a trusted advisor to public and private sector clients throughout the region. What You'll Do
As our Environmental Lead, you'll drive business growth while providing strategic leadership for environmental projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles Region.
- Practice Growth: Expand Environmental Services across the Greater Los Angeles Region through strategic business development and client engagement.
- Client Leadership: Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, municipalities, utilities, and private-sector clients.
- Project Leadership: Serve as Senior Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge, overseeing project delivery, technical quality, budgets, and schedules.
- Business Development: Lead pursuits, proposals, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations while partnering with technical experts across multiple environmental disciplines.
- Technical Oversight: Guide multidisciplinary teams delivering CEQA/NEPA compliance, permitting, biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, and related environmental services.
- Industry Presence: Represent Psomas through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, land development, planning/policy, wildlife biology, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Proven success, growing client relationships and winning new business.
- Experience serving as Senior Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA and California environmental permitting.
- Established network within the Greater Los Angeles Region public sector market is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $140,000–$200,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Incentives: Discretionary bonus and recognition programs.
