We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rheumatology District Manager to oversee our rheumatology sales team and drive business growth within the designated district. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of rheumatology products and a strong background in team management and healthcare sales. This role requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and support our mission of providing innovative therapies for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives specializing in rheumatology products to achieve sales targets and enhance product knowledge.
Develop and implement strategic plans to grow market share and improve sales performance within the district.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the rheumatology community.
Organize and participate in presentations, conferences, and medical education events to promote awareness and understanding of our products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, training, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment of district sales strategies with corporate goals.
Monitor and evaluate team performance using KPIs and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.) is preferred.
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, with at least 2 years in a management role within rheumatology or a related therapeutic area.
In-depth knowledge of rheumatology diseases, treatment options, and market dynamics.
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and adept at utilizing data to drive decision-making.

Learning Aptitude towards AI/Tech: Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
AI/Tech Team Upskilling: Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$130,000.00 - $224,250.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
