  • Support development and maintenance of accessibility frameworks, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Assist in monitoring accessibility metrics and preparing reports to track compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to digital accessibility awareness, training and capability-building initiatives.

  • Support the promotion of inclusive design practices and shared ownership of accessibility across product, delivery and business teams.

  • Stay informed about emerging accessibility legislation, regulations, standards, technologies and industry best practice, and contribute relevant insights to support accessibility initiatives across the organisation.

Essential skills required:

  • Strong knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), AS EN 301 549, inclusive design principles and UX best practices.

  • Understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA), Disability Standards, and accessibility guidance published by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC).

  • Extensive experience in digital accessibility reviews, testing and audits.

  • Experience using assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools.

  • Ability to identify accessibility barriers and recommend effective, practical solutions.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and consulting skills.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience supporting accessibility governance, compliance and assurance activities.

  • Experience delivering accessibility training and awareness programs.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications such as IAAP CPACC, WAS or CPWA in accessibility or a related discipline.
