The Key Purpose if this role is to drive digital transformation initiatives within Logistics and Supply Chain by supporting the development and execution of digital business strategies, optimizing business processes, and leveraging technology, data, and analytics to improve operational performance. The role will play a key part in shaping the future state of Logistics through the implementation of innovative digital solutions, enhanced stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement across the Africa Zone.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy and Transformation
Support the development and execution of the Logistics Tier 1 and Tier 2 Digital Business Strategy.
Align digital transformation initiatives with the broader Zone Supply Chain and Transformation strategies.
Translate strategic objectives into clearly defined projects and implementation roadmaps.
Monitor project delivery against agreed milestones, timelines, and business objectives.
Identify opportunities for digital innovation that improve operational efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
Project Management and Execution
Lead and coordinate digital transformation projects from concept through implementation.
Develop project plans, governance structures, and performance-tracking mechanisms.
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Apply agile project management principles to drive effective execution and stakeholder engagement.
Process Improvement and Business Transformation
Document and analyze current ("As-Is") supply chain and logistics processes through detailed process mapping.
Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and digitization.
Design and implement future-state ("To-Be") processes to improve operational effectiveness.
Drive standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement across logistics processes.
Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Data, Analytics and Technology Enablement
Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, measure performance, and support decision-making.
Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI and other analytics tools.
Support the implementation and optimization of digital platforms and systems, including SAP solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained.
Promote data-driven decision-making across the business.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Establish effective stakeholder engagement routines aligned to Agile ways of working.
Monitor stakeholder engagement, project adoption, and adherence to transformation initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and cross-functional collaborations.
Provide coaching and support to business teams throughout transformation initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Stay informed of emerging technologies, digital trends, and best practices within supply chain and logistics.
Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer experience, operational performance, and business value.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field.
3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Transformation, or FMCG Operations.
Proven project management and business transformation experience.
Experience in process improvement, business analysis, and digital transformation.
SAP experience (essential).
Power BI development and reporting experience.
Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong coaching and change management capabilities.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Advantageous
Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in Supply Chain or Logistics.
Exposure to automation, digital platforms, and advanced analytics solutions.
