Description
The Opportunity:
CACI has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support logistics efforts under our NFL II contract at COMNAVAIRLANT, Norfolk VA, in support of CVN readiness.
Responsibilities:
Support readiness on CVNs and at Aviation Support Detachments (ASDs) on both the East and West coast as well as OCONUS ASDs.
Monitor AVCAL and COSAL Range & Depth for CVNs post-maintenance phase leading up to deployment to ensure goals are met.
Monitor CVN’s frustrated requisitions post AVCAL load for Lateral Support (LATSUP) opportunities to enhance readiness.
Coordinate with NAVSUP for fulfillment of NA/NM requisitions when funding/assets are available.
Work with CNAP/CNAL N41/N1 for Aviation Support Unit (AVSU) implementation.
Coordinate with N423 for LATSUP opportunities to support Broad Arrow requirements in the absence of CVN Expeditors.
Coordinate with ASD/CVN S-6 personnel post TSTA and C2X for Repair & Return / CV Express opportunities.
Provide subject matter expert support to business process improvement reviews of emerging information systems.
Demonstrate an ability to perform file maintenance, analyze output reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Required
Active DOD Secret security clearance
Typically has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or related business discipline and a minimum of eight years of experience in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of military logistics AISs.
As a substitute for education, eight years of experience in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category
Familiarity with Navy Aviation supply and maintenance relationships, organization, and management databases is highly desired; possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
Experience with NALCOMIS, RSUPPLY and CMP.
Work independently.
Desired
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
Naval Aviation experience preferred.
