Technical Service Leader, Transco

Transco Technical Service Leader locates in east of China will lead technical service team, support container business, cooperate S&T, Operation, Quality team to serve customer and achieve sales target. This role will report to Technical Service Manager of Industrial China.

  • Cooperate with Sale to achieve business target.
• Team Building:
  • Establish and lead a dedicated Transco TSR team (currently non-existent)
  • Define team operating standards and technical service protocols
  • Develop the next generation of container coating technical talent
•  Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as PPG's senior technical representative in the container coating segment
  • Maintain and deepen strategic partnerships with Tier-1 customers:
  • Build customer trust and drive long-term cooperation agreements
•  Technical Service Scope:
  • On-site troubleshooting and real-time issue resolution on powder coating lines
  • Manage powder coating system line trials and qualification processes
  • Develop customer-specific coating specifications and application guidelines
  • Handle customer complaints and deliver technical solutions
• Technical Coordination:
  • Coordinate with formulation, production, and quality teams to meet container industry standards
  • Interface with PPG global S&T teams to leverage the latest technical resources
  • Support the technology transition from liquid to powder coating in container manufacturing
• Key Technical Domains:
  • Salt Spray Requirements | Film Thickness Control | Edge Coverage | Marine Corrosion Standards | Powder Spray System Optimization

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred:  Minimum 5–7 years in heavy duty industrial coating technical or technical service experience, Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree required
• Languages: Mandarin (native) + English (business level, for global team coordination)
• Preferred qualifications: Container coating experience, Powder coating application experience
