The opportunity
As BU Risk Management Analyst at Hitachi, Ltd., you will assist BU Risk Manager in evaluating and mitigating financial, operational, and strategic risks across various business units. This role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and protect company assets.
How you'll make an impact
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis of critical tenders to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
* Monitor key risk indicators and trends, preparing detailed reports and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.
* Assist in the development and delivery of AI-driven risk management tools.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. Sales, Legal, Finance) to ensure consistent application of risk management regulations and FCM guidelines;
* Assist in the development and delivery of risk awareness training programs for employees.
* Stay abreast of regulatory changes, emerging risks, and industry developments to proactively adjust risk management strategies.
* Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to risk management activities.
Your background
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Contract Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRISC) is a plus.
* 2+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or a related role, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify potential risks and their impact.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Copilot.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
* Fluent in both English and Italian.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:
