Description
The Associate Clinical Liaison Manager is responsible for supporting treatment planning operations within Align’s India delivery hub in Hyderabad. This role provides clinical expertise to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes, while managing complex inquiries and supporting customer and business needs.
The Associate Clinical Liaison Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, and Commercial—to address clinical challenges, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience. This role plays a key part in driving clinical excellence, supporting operational scalability, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across global operations.
Additionally, this role supports knowledge development across the organization, mentoring junior clinical staff and contributing to innovation through insights, feedback, and participation in clinical and product development initiatives.
Role expectations
- Provide clinical support for treatment planning operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in treatment outcomes.
- Manage and resolve complex clinical inquiries, customer concerns, and treatment-related issues to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Product, Commercial) to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose data-driven solutions to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to software and product enhancement initiatives by providing clinical insights and feedback.
- Support clinical quality monitoring activities, including profiling and performance analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior clinical staff (Levels 4–6), supporting development and capability building.
- Participate in study groups, training sessions, and customer-facing events as presenter or facilitator when applicable.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all customer interactions and clinical cases in relevant systems.
- Maintain proficiency in Align proprietary treatment planning software and tools.
- Complete required training and continuously develop clinical and technical expertise.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or equivalent preferred in a relevant clinical or dental field.
- 6–10 years of relevant clinical or treatment planning experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate clinical topics.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency with standard computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
