Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of SmartEquip administrative duties including both backend and frontend maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Supports business strategy related to platform enhancements and ensures the voice of the customer is conveyed in all development
  • Represents our employees/users and ensures operational concerns are properly documented and communicated throughout the organization
  • Assists in the prioritization of SmartEquip project load to ensure that the highest amount of business value is being delivered in the fastest time possible
  • Uses data, analytics and operational insight to recommend needed enhancements
  • Ensures all aspects of the platform are accurately maintained and enabled for necessary users
  • Consults with suppliers regarding SmartEquip maintenance and overall platform understanding
  • Maintains an accurate branch administration database and works cross functionally with other departments to ensure the platform is readily available to new locations
  • Demonstrates expert level understanding of the SmartEquip application from a technical standpoint
  • Identifies suppliers that qualify for B2B enhancements and actively work to establish these connections
  • Understands supplier’s product offering and recommends best SmartEquip integration level accordingly
  • Builds and leverages solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders, other Product Managers, user experience and technology teams to facilitate successful feature implementation
  • Develops and maintains all training and support materials related to the SmartEquip application
  • Ensures the platform captures all pertinent data and delivers product information in a clear and concise manner to end-users
  • Leads user acceptance testing, product pilots, and implementations

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field of study or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years of experience within construction or equipment rental industry
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with project and product management
  • Demonstrates experience leading cross-functional teams with and without direct report relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop process maps, persuasive/communicative PowerPoint decks, and project plans
  • Demonstrates experience in the areas of customer experience and process improvement
  • Demonstrates ability to foster teamwork and collaboration through effective change management
  • Demonstrates knowledge of closed-loop AI systems
  • Preferred knowledge of Wynne Rentalman and/or SmartEquip Inc.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $74,501.00 - 102,438.60

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
