Medical Assistant – Residential Substance Use Treatment
Location: Concord, MA
Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: PRN, Part-Time & Full-Time | All Shifts Available
Shift Options: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Our Concord, MA residential program provides a structured and supportive environment where clients receive the medical, clinical, and recovery support they need. We are looking for Medical Assistants to join our team and provide hands-on support to clients throughout their treatment.
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing teams by completing routine clinical tasks, monitoring client health, collecting specimens, documenting medical information, and assisting with medication-related processes.
This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with people and wants to use their clinical skills in a residential substance use treatment setting.
What You'll Do
- Obtain and document vital signs, blood sugars, and other routine health information
- Collect urine and other specimens and complete required toxicology screening processes
- Document and communicate changes in client health status or medical concerns to nursing and clinical leadership
- Support medication-related processes, including observing medication dispensing by pharmacy vendor technicians
- Assist with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services and client monitoring
- Complete admission-related medical documentation and maintain accurate client records
- Monitor medical and medication supplies and communicate inventory needs
- Assist clients with routine medical needs, follow-up calls, and health-related education
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients
- Work closely with nursing, clinical, and residential staff as part of the treatment team
- Complete required training and other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential care, or a similar setting is a plus
- Comfortable obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, documenting clinical information, and communicating health concerns
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, professional, and comfortable working with individuals in recovery
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced residential environment
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
