## Grow with us

About this opportunity:

Own and lead Ericsson India's end-to-end telecom regulatory compliance and certification strategy across the product portfolio, ensuring uninterrupted market access and business continuity.

Act as the single accountable program lead for regulatory certification, trusted product approvals, security compliance initiatives, and emerging regulatory requirements. Drive proactive regulatory intelligence, influence product readiness, manage compliance risks, and orchestrate cross-functional execution across engineering, product management, security, sourcing, supply, legal, customer units, and external stakeholders.

Serve as the technical and regulatory authority for India-specific telecom regulations while supporting Government & Policy Advocacy efforts through technical analysis, policy inputs, strategic stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation initiatives aligned with Ericsson's business objectives.

## What you will do

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Own the India regulatory compliance roadmap for Ericsson products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities, product release plans, customer commitments, and market-access requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end regulatory certification programs covering MTCTE, ITSAR, NSDTS/Trusted Product, NCCS Security Certification, WPC approvals, DPL requirements, TEC frameworks, and future regulatory mandates.
  • Establish and drive long-term compliance strategies that anticipate regulatory changes and enable proactive business decision-making.
  • Act as the primary interface between regulatory requirements and product organizations, ensuring compliance considerations are integrated into product lifecycle management and market introduction processes.
  • Govern overall certification portfolios, priorities, dependencies, budgets, risks, timelines, and executive reporting.

Technical Program Management

  • Lead complex cross-functional certification programs involving Product Development, Security, Supply, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Legal, Customer Units, and external certification bodies.
  • Drive end-to-end execution from requirement assessment, testing strategy, laboratory engagement, certification planning, submission management, approval acquisition, renewals, and ongoing compliance management.
  • Establish governance mechanisms, milestone reviews, dashboards, escalation frameworks, and executive reporting to ensure predictable delivery of regulatory commitments.
  • Develop scalable operating models and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance visibility, and certification cycle times.

Regulatory Intelligence & Risk Management

  • Continuously assess emerging telecom regulations, national security directives, cyber-security requirements, trusted-source mandates, and policy developments impacting Ericsson's business.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical and business recommendations for leadership and product organizations.
  • Identify regulatory, commercial, technical, and supply-chain risks associated with certification activities and drive mitigation strategies through closure.
  • Provide strategic guidance on certification applicability, product family classifications, associated-product optimization, and testing rationalization to minimize cost, reduce duplication, and accelerate time-to-market.

Technical Authority & Compliance Governance

  • Serve as Ericsson India's subject matter expert for telecom regulatory certification, product security compliance, and trusted-product frameworks.
  • Lead technical interpretation of standards, ITSAR requirements, security requirements, regulatory notifications, and government directives.
  • Ensure robust compliance governance through accurate regulatory documentation, evidence management, certification repositories, audit readiness, and executive-level compliance reporting.
  • Define and maintain compliance controls, operating procedures, and best practices across the certification lifecycle.

## External Stakeholder Management & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Ericsson in engagements with TEC, NCCS, NSDTS, WPC, accredited laboratories, strategic partners, industry associations, and other regulatory stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate effective resolution of certification issues, interpretation challenges, and implementation concerns.
  • Support Government & Policy Advocacy initiatives through technical assessments, regulatory position papers, consultation responses, and executive briefings.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to industry forums and collaborative initiatives shaping India's telecom regulatory landscape.

Business Enablement

  • Ensure regulatory readiness for new product introductions, technology evolution, and customer deployments.
  • Drive timely certification and approval outcomes to protect revenue, support customer commitments, and prevent market-access disruptions.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess regulatory impacts on strategic initiatives, investments, sourcing decisions, and product roadmaps.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on compliance status, regulatory developments, and business risks.
