2nd Class Insulator

Description

The 2nd Class Insulator will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and possess a solid understanding of insulation materials and their applications. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and skilled individual with a keen attention to detail and the ability to complete all responsibilities in a timely manner. 

Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand tools such as knives, wire cutters, saws, and tape measures with precision and efficiency.
• Apply various types of insulation materials according to job specifications and safety standards.
• Work independently or collaboratively with team members to complete tasks.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance and work performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with hand tools and insulation materials.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively in a variety of weather conditions and non-standard hours.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and team collaboration. 

Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces as required in a shipbuilding environment.
• Physical agility and dexterity to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings.

 This is a Full Time Position: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM and Friday, 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM
